We’re still ambivalent about the Olympics logo redesign. Certainly dynamic but quite how effective it will be in a variety of sites – from street to mobile phone – is questionable. We were more struck however by how much the promotional film reminded us of Queen’s It’s A Kind of Magic. A dirty grey world, enlivened by the wizardry of a star performer. Lord Coe is the Freddie Mercury of the 30th Olympiad.
